Hosta Dewed Steel develops into an upright, vase-shaped medium mound, reaching a height of 38cm to 45cm and spreading up to 90cm at maturity. This Hosta features distinctive aqua-blue, slightly wavy leaves with prominent white undersides. The glaucous bloom on the foliage imparts a steel-blue appearance. The leaves are held upright by sturdy petioles that are speckled with purple at the base. In August and continuing into September, striped lavender flowers emerge on 60cm tall scapes. The plant's excellent substance makes it highly resistant to slugs. Additionally, the blue bloom provides protection from the sun, enhancing its tolerance to sunlight.
