Hosta Gold Elation will form a very large clump of 85-95cm in height, with a spread of up to 230cm at maturity. Large golden leaves of excellent substance. This recently new giant Hosta from Hosta hybridiser Leslie Fraser, is really great!  Gold Elation has large leaves that cup at the base and end in a sharp point. The foliage turns a strong yellow colour with some sun which the plant handles easily. Allow plenty of space to show off the lovely vase-shaped clump. It has pale lavender flowers, held on yellow scapes of up to 125cm during July & August. It is both slug resistant and sun tolerant. At last, a giant Hosta that can take full sun.
