Hosta Green Lava forms a medium-sized, upright mound reaching 45cm-55cm in height with a spread of up to 95cm at maturity. It features cascading, slightly twisted, wavy yellow leaves supported by purple petioles, which transition to a soft green later in the season. Lavender flowers appear on scapes reaching up to 80cm in late summer, around August and extending into September. This plant thrives in semi-shade to full shade environments. Hosta Green Lava presents an attractive appearance when fully mature.
