Hosta Lady Guinevere will form a medium-sized mound approximately 45cm-50cm in height, with a spread of up to 75cm when fully mature. This Hosta features yellow-variegated leaves that enhance the deeper green margins. Its small, textured, narrow leaves maintain a golden hue accented by prominent bluish-green variegation throughout the growing season. The pointed, ruffled leaves distinguish it from other Hosta varieties. This Hosta is particularly notable for its numerous delicate spikes of purple flower buds, which open to lavender tubular flowers atop 90cm scapes during mid-summer. It thrives best in partial shade, although it can benefit from morning sunlight, but should be shielded from the midday sun.
