Hosta Lone Star will form a large mound of 65-70cm in height, with a spread of up to 140cm at maturity. A green-centred sport of the popular Hosta Key West. Leaves are a medium green with a vivid gold margin. The broadly ovate leaves are slightly shiny on top and have deeply impressed veins. Bright filtered shade draws out the most intense gold colouration in the margin but this nice giant Hosta that can handle some sun. Near white flowers are held well above the foliage on 125cm tall scapes in June & July. Part of our Special Collection.
