Hosta Mama Mia is a small to medium-sized, 18" tall & 30" wide, clump-forming, herbaceous perennial forming a compact, dome-shaped, mound of broad, heart-shaped, wavy-margined, veined, slightly corrugated, glossy dark green leaves with golden-yellow margins fading to cream with age. Racemes of dainty, funnel-shaped, pale lavender flowers bloom on tall, slender 28" scapes in summer. Excellent gold autumn colour. It is considered a medium sized hosta and forms a nice open clump. However I feel this is more small to medium. Nothing about slug resistance or sun tolerance on the internet, so assume the worst.
