Hosta Serendipity forms a compact mound reaching approximately 30cm to 45cm in height, with a spread of up to 75cm at maturity. Derived from a cross between Hosta Blue Cadet and Hosta Tokudama, this variety exhibits blue-green, heart-shaped leaves that transition to dark green as they mature. It forms a dense, orderly clump. The plant produces delicate lavender to near-white funnel-shaped flowers on tall scapes of about 70cm, which rise above the foliage mound in mid-summer. These flowers are abundant and long-lasting. As a hybrid of Hosta tokudama, it is somewhat smaller than Hosta Blue Cadet and multiplies rapidly.
