The Hosta Moerheim forms a substantial mound, reaching heights of approximately 60cm to 90cm, with a spread of up to 95cm at maturity. It possesses irregular green leaves with narrow borders that range from white to creamy-white. The leaves are oval to elliptical in shape with slightly wavy edges, creating an attractive overall appearance as they gracefully droop towards the ground. During the summer, this plant produces tall scapes, around 100cm in height, adorned with pale lavender flowers emerging from the centre of the clump. Renowned for its reliable growth, the Hosta Moerheim is particularly suited for planting beneath trees. It can tolerate sunlight. This plant also serves as an excellent standalone feature in garden borders and makes a striking specimen when placed in a large container.
