Hosta Olympic Sunrise will form a medium mound reaching approximately 40cm-50cm in height, with a spread of up to 80cm at maturity. A sport of Katherine Lewis, it exhibits exceptional substance and maintains its form well into autumn. The thick leaves feature a blue-green border surrounding a yellow centre, which transitions from yellow to creamy white as the season progresses. Eventually, the leaf centre turns parchment-coloured while the margin becomes dark green. This Hosta is topped with lavender flowers on tall scapes, reaching up to 105cm late in the season, often blooming as late as August and September. The clump remains visually appealing long after most other Hostas have declined. It is slug resistant.
