Hosta Paradise Glory will form a large mound of 60cm-75cm in height, with a spread of up to 125cm at maturity. It is a sport of Hosta Paul's Glory, with thicker leaves and a wider margin. The thick gold leaves have a wide blue-green margin. Leaves emerge in spring with bright blue margins surrounding a muted chartreuse centre. By late summer, the glaucous coating fades away, revealing a bright gold centre surrounded by a blue-green margin. Pale lavender flowers appear on scapes of up to 90cm during July and into August. The substantial leaves enable this Hosta to be slug resistant. It prefers dappled shade. This plant has received an RHS Award of Merit.
