Hosta Paradise Island matures into a small to medium open mound, reaching a height of 30cm-45cm with a spread of 90cm. It features attractive heart-shaped leaves bordered by a dark green margin surrounding the brilliant yellow centre. The leaves are supported by red petioles, which, like its parent Hosta Fire Island, display red coloration extending into the leaf base. In June and July, lavender flowers bloom on scapes up to 55cm tall. Hosta Paradise Island has demonstrated considerable vigour and performance, making it an excellent choice for container planting. It thrives in sunny conditions. This variety maintains its form well throughout the season and shows greater adaptability to various garden environments compared to its parent.
