Hosta Quarter Back will form a miniature mound of just 3-5cm in height, with a spread of about 5cm at maturity. This is one of the smallest Hostas on the market. Hosta Quarter Back is a delightful miniature Hosta introduced in 2020, the result of a cross between Hosta Cracker Crumbs and Hosta Blue Mouse Ears. Forming a small clump with dark green, coin-shaped leaves, this hardy perennial never grows no taller than 3-5cm and stays under 25cm wide. Despite its tiny stature, Hosta Quarter Back displays excellent vigour, making it a great choice for rock gardens or small troughs. Lavender flowers emerge just above the foliage on 10cm scapes in July & August. This Hosta is slug resistant and sun tolerant. Note: Miniature Hostas should be potted in well-draining compost.
