Hosta Blue Cadet will form a small to medium sized Hosta is of 12"-16" in height with a spread of up to 36" at maturity. Electrifying silvery blue foliage is heavily textured and tends to be more resistant to slugs than the softer leaves of average Hostas. Leaves may turn from blue to a more green colour with shady planting. Slow to bulk up to start with, but is a strong and fast growing Hosta, once established. A very neat grower making it a good choice for beginners. Pale lavender flowers appear from July into August, on compact scapes up to 30" tall. Hosta Blue Cadet is both slug resistant and sun tolerant (if kept moist).
