Hosta Titanium will form a medium sizeed, low growing, mound of about 8"-12" in height, with a spread of up to 36", at maturity. Leaves are slightly wavy adding to the beauty. Very thick foliage is silvery blue in spring and holds the blue well. This vigorous silver-blue clumps up quickly, with leathery, smooth centred leaves that are heavily coated with wax on both the upper and lower surface. It is perfect for the front of the border. Loves morning and late afternoon sun but needs protection from mid-day sun to preserve the blue well into the season. A second flush of leaves mid to late season keeps the blue coming. Lavender flowers on 24" scapes in late summer complete the picture. Slug resistant too. Both foliage and flowers tend to outlast all other Hostas.
