Hosta Winter Snow forms a large, wide flattish mound of about 30"-36" in height, with a spread of up to 60", at maturity. A vigorous, white-edged sport of Hosta Sum & Substance, with great colour contrast between the chartreuse leaves and white margin. Leaf margins emerge yellow but quickly turn white by summer. The slightly shiny leaves have some corrugation that really stand out in the garden. Can handle some sun where the leaves become more yellow. Pale lavender flowers bourne on 50" scapes mid summer. Very large mound of attractive foliage will be a focal point in the garden. Sun tolerant and slug resistant. RHS Award Of Garden Merit.
