Hosta Blackfoot will form a small to medium Hosta of 30-30cm in height, with a spread of up to 45cm at maturity.  It has elliptical shaped bright yellow leaves with red stems. Dark violet flowers in summer held on brown petioles. The foliage starts the season light green and becomes more yellow as the season progresses. An eye popping small yellow variety with lovely thin leaves and pronounced veins. A prolific flowerer in the summer which are a stunning purple colour, before opening to  paler lavender with purple stripes. Known for its brown petioles. The petiole is darker at the base, hence the name Blackfoot. Held on scapes of up to 45cm.
