Hosta Hans will form a medium-sized mound reaching 50cm-60cm in height, with a spread of up to 90cm at maturity. In spring, its bright white leaves are complemented by blue-green margins, with a lighter green hue between the white centres and the blue edges. By mid-summer, the leaf centres begin to display green streaks. The leaves are corrugated and twisted, adding to the overall attractiveness of the clump. This slow-growing variety requires a special spot or container in the garden. Pale lavender flowers appear on scapes approximately 90cm tall in late spring. Hosta Hans thrives in morning sun.
