Hosta Cup of Joy will form a medium mound of 12"-18" in height with a spread of up to 24" at maturity. A strong cupped green variety, a seedling of Hosta Abiqua Drinking Gourd and similar but smaller. Has the same qualities of its parent with the lovely cupped and corrugated leaves but with a nice golden yellow colour. Leaves emerge chartreuse and brighten as the season progresses. It lasts well into the season. It can handle a bit of sun without burning. Almost white flowers appear on scapes of up to 28" in height, around July to August. A really handsome Hosta that is both slug resistant and sun tolerant. What's not to like?
