Hosta Teacher's Pride forms a medium-sized mound approximately 30cm-38cm in height, with a spread of up to 70cm at maturity. This variety is a sport of Hosta Halcyon, featuring white centres on heart-shaped leaves in spring. The leaves emerge with bright white centres bordered by a blue margin, accompanied by lighter green streaks. As the season progresses, the leaf centres gradually turn green, resembling a smaller Hosta Guardian Angel. The seasonal colour changes provide long-term visual interest. This variety produces lavender flowers on 60cm long scapes in summer, exhibits good sun tolerance, and has thick, slug-resistant leaves.
