Hosta Teacher's Pride will form a medium-sized mound approximately 30cm-38cm in height, with a spread of up to 70cm at maturity. This Hosta is a sport of Hosta Halcyon, featuring white centres on heart-shaped leaves in spring. The leaves emerge with bright white centres bordered by a blue margin, with lighter green streaks. As the season progresses, the leaf centres gradually turn green, resembling a smaller Hosta Guardian Angel. This variety produces lavender flowers on 60cm long scapes in summer. It is slug resistant and sun tolerant.
