Hosta Golden Prayers will form a compact mound, reaching a height of 25cm-30cm and spreading up to 75cm at maturity. This Hosta exhibits broadly ovate to heart-shaped, wrinkled, veined leaves that range in colour from golden-yellow to yellow-green. It has an upright growth habit with yellow cupped leaves and will keep its colour until the first frost. The very upright scapes, measuring 50cm, bear racemes of funnel-shaped flowers in shades of lavender to near white, which can appear as early as June and as late as August. The firm, puckered, golden leaves perform best with some sun exposure and is slug resistant.
