Hosta Lakeside Banana Bay will form a medium to large mound of 16"-18" in height, with a spread of up to 20", at maturity. It has shiny leaves that are rounded with bright yellow centres and a green border. The leaves have prominent veins, & good substance to them, that gives them a good resistance to slugs and snails. There is a third colour, a paler green, that streaks in between the centre and margin. Sport of Hosta Lakeside Meter Maid. Pale lavender to almost white flowers, appear on 24" scapes, in mid summer. You can brighten up a shady area with this jaunty wide mound of luminosity. Recommend dappled shade only.
