Hosta Lakeside Dragonfly will form a medium sized Hosta of 16"-18" in height, with a spread of up to 40", at maturity. It boasts medium-green, broad, lance-shaped leaves with wide, irregular, white margins. The sharp contrast between the green leaves and bright white margin make this hosta a winner! Leaves emerge blue-green with creamy yellow margins turning a shiny green with pure white margins in summer. The leaves reach out horizontally from the base and seem to hug the ground. Lakeside Dragonfly is a rapid grower producing lavender flowers on scapes of up to 36", in late summer. It is not noted to be slug resistant or sun tolerant, but doesn't seem to be bothered by slugs or sunshine This is a spectacular looking, very impressive in a container or specimen.
