Hosta Magic Island will form a small to medium-sized mound, reaching 25cm-30cm in height and spreading up to 50cm at maturity. This highly attractive member of the Hosta Halcyon family features thick leaves with a bright gold centre, bordered by an irregular wide blue-green edge that expands over time. The leaf centres gradually transition to a cream colour. As a sport of Hosta Catherine, it inherits many of its characteristics, including an upright growth habit with lightly cupped, thick leaves.
