Hosta Northern Exposure forms a substantial mound, reaching approximately 70cm-85cm in height and spreading up to 175cm at maturity. It features thick blue leaves that are heavily corrugated with a creamy-white edge. Although it matures slowly, it is truly worth the wait. This variety resembles Hosta American Halo but does not suffer from the drawstring effect. This large specimen has rounded blue-green leaves with a broad white margin. The leaves are generally flat with a slight dish shape in mature plants. They possess a heavily seersuckered texture with a good blue base colour, edged in creamy white. Near-white flowers bloom on tall 110cm scapes in June. Additionally, it offers good resistance to slugs and tolerates sun well.
