Hosta Ripped will form a medium to large mound of 45-60cm in height, with a spread of up to 80cm at maturity. Hosta Ripped has thick rounded blue leaves, which are heavily puckered and they make an outstanding clump. Blue, strongly puckered leaves that are held upright, and almost completely green in late summer. In our opinion one of the most puckered blues we know. Has proven to be a good many of these thick and puckered Hostas are reputed to be a bit slow growers, but not this one. Pale lavender flowers in July & August on 75cm blue scapes. Nice thick corrugated leaves. Fairly rare. Both sun tolerant and slug resistant.
