Hosta Risky Business will form a medium sized, moundof 20"-24" in height with a spreda of up to 30" at maturity. A deciduous perennial bearing broadly ovate to heart-shaped, veined, dark green leaves with bright white centres, that hold all season, and upright scapes feature dainty spikes of violet lavender tubular, non-scented, flowers rising above the foliage on 24" tall scapes, in mid summer. Its foliage tends to remain dense right to the ground, not requiring facer plants in front. It grows at a medium rate. It is fairly good with sun tolerance and I have found it to be more resistant to slugs than many Hostas. Try growing this in a container. It looks fabulous as a mature plant.& RHS Award Of Garden Merit.
