Hosta Cherokee forms a medium mound reaching a height of 36cm-40cm, with a spread of up to 75cm at maturity. The centre is creamy white with green borders. This variety is a sport derived from Hosta Moonlight Sonata and initially emerges as blue-green with a creamy yellow centre. By summer, it transitions to a creamy white centre with green margins and includes a third lighter green colour between the margins. Notably, this Hosta produces fragrant flowers that range in colour from pale purple to almost white, blooming from July into August on 75cm scapes. It is also sun tolerant.
