Hosta Stained glass will form a medium to large mound of 20"-24" in height, with a spread of up to 36", at maturity. This is a wonderful sport of the beloved Hosta Guacamole, that differs in that it has a much brighter gold centre. Nice yellow leaves have a dark green margin that creates a great colour contrast. Prominent veins throughout the leaf give this hosta a stained glass window effect, from early in the season. Hosta Stained Glass tolerates the sun very well. Good fertile soil and adequate moisture are needed if growing in full sun. Outstanding Hosta to use around an entrance for the attractive foliage and the wonderfully scented almost white flowers that appear on 30" scapes in July & August. Exhibits greater sun tolerance.
