Hosta Pineapple Salsa will form a medium mound of 10"-14" in height, with a spread of up to 22", at maturity. It has slightly wavy leaves of a bright colour, a fresh yellow-green centre and a darker green border. If you add to this colour combination, a dark red of the leaf’s petioles, we are somewhere in the tropics and we are looking at some exotic bromelia...  a bit of rainforest in your garden?  It has purple flowers held on 32" scapes from July into August, that contrast well against the foliage.
