Hosta Sugar and Spice will form a medium sized mound of about 16"-20" in height, with a spread of up to 32", at maturity. It is a wonderful variety, with shiny, green leaves and an irregular, rippled yellow edge, which matures to more white through the season. The foliage of this hosta is eye-catching due to the glossiness and the variegation. Very under-rated Hosta that always looks great in the border. Pale lavender flowers on scapes of up to 32" , appear in late summer filling the air with a sweet fragrance. Really quite attractive as a mature plant. Not known to be sun tolerant or slug resistant.
