Hosta Coloured Hulk develops into a medium-sized mound, reaching 36cm-40cm in height, with a spread of up to 45cm at maturity. It is characterized by thick, slightly cupped, heart-shaped lime green leaves with a prominent wide dark green border. The plant retains a stable light green centre throughout the season. Lavender flowers on long 60cm scapes emerge during July and August. This variety is both slug resistant and sun tolerant, although it prefers dappled shade with some sunlight to maintain colour intensity. Hosta Coloured Hulk is an excellent bright medium-sized Hosta suitable for any garden, particularly effective in containers.
