Hosta fortunei Hyacinthina will form a medium sized mound of about 20"-24" in height, with a spread of up to 40", at maturity. It is a striking plant that produces dark green-blue rippled, rounded, lance-shaped leaves. A vigorous Hosta, it produces bell-shaped mauve-white flowers that contrast beautifully against the dark foliage that reach a mature scape height of up to 42". This wonderful plant can be grown in all areas of the garden but will flourish in partially shaded areas. Easy to maintain, they are a great choice for adding interest into your summer garden. Leaves of good substance means that it is generally slug resistant for most of the season.
