Hosta Big Red will grow into a medium to large sized Hosta of 48-52cm in height, with a mature spread of up to 75cm. Hosta Big Red has yellow leaves with deep red petioles. The leaves are slightly corrugated with deep veins. The yellow leaves are cupped downward with wavy margins. The yellow colour is relatively constant throughout the season. Lavender flowers on 80cm red scapes bloom from July into August. Grows in shade & partial shade.
