Hosta Valley's Glacier will form a medium mound measuring 40cm-45cm in height with a spread of up to 50cm at maturity. This Hosta features heart-shaped leaves that exhibit an intense frosted-blue hue with a wide yellow border that transitions to creamy-white. It forms a relatively tidy, semi-upright mound. This Hosta remains visually appealing from Spring through Autumn. It is a sport of Hosta First Frost but distinguished by a broader margin. The leaves have a glaucous bloom both on the upper and lower surfaces. In July and August, lavender flowers emerge on 60cm tall scapes. Additionally, this Hosta thrives best with some morning and afternoon sun to enhance its colours and vibrant margin. It is also slug resistant.
