Hosta Valley's Glacier will develop into a medium mound measuring 40cm-45cm in height with a spread of up to 50cm at maturity. This plant features heart-shaped leaves that exhibit an intense frosted-blue hue with a wide yellow border that transitions to creamy-white. It forms a relatively tidy, semi-upright mound, making it an exceptional container plant. This Hosta remains visually appealing from Spring through Autumn. It is a sport of Hosta First Frost but distinguished by a broader margin. The leaves have a glaucous bloom both on the upper and lower surfaces. This Hosta thrives best with some morning and afternoon sun to enhance its colours and vibrant margin. In July and August, lavender flowers emerge on 60cm tall scapes. Additionally, the waxy leaves provide a degree of resistance to slugs.
