Hosta Valley's Glacier will form a medium mound of 16"-18" in height, with a spread of up to 20", at maturity. It has heart-shaped leaves that are intensely frosted-blue with a wide yellow border that progresses to creamy-white. It forms a fairly tidy, semi upright mound, making it a stunning container plant. Excellent Hosta that looks good from Spring into Autumn. A Hosta First Frost sport but with a broader edge. Leaves have a glaucous bloom both on top of the leaf and beneath. This Hosta will do best with a little morning and afternoon sun to bring out the colours and that vibrant margin. Lavender flowers appear on 24" tall scapes in during July & August. The waxy leaves also make this Hosta somewhat slug resistant.
